Distribution[]

The species inhabits scattered locations in France and Spain. It is also known from Switzerland.

Habitat[]

The species is most common in pine and coniferous forest. It is often found at higher altitudes. Larvae feed on many Pine types but primarily Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris).
